Can you Retro Fit a TPMS system to a 2009 HSE D3?
Hello all,
I am looking into retro-fitting a TPMS system to my 2009 HSE D3, I have seen a lot of threads about doing this for a D4 but I couldn't find one for a D3, apologise if I have missed it.
Looking at the workshop manual it describes the system very well and I found, I think, the wiring for the front initiators, see the photos, the green & white is the the passenger side and the Blue and White is for the drivers (on a UK model), that's if I'm reading the wiring diagram correctly.

As you see they are blanked off and so I'll need to connect them to the initiators.
I then looked for the wiring under the roof lining. I removed the middle light cluster and the other cover. I could see the motor for the sunroof but no other loom. The manual says there are two connectors, C1537 & C2447. However, I couldn't see them anywhere.
So if this loom isn't present I don't want to carry on with this I might just get a system which works off the dust caps.
So I finally have gotten round to my Question, does anyone know if this loom is up there or as the car didn't have it as an option it wasn't fitted?
I could understand that the front connectors are there as they are part of the front loom but perhaps the extra loom into the roof lining was purely for the TPMS so if it wasn't spec'ed in the build it wouldn't be fitted?
What do we think?

I'm not sure, it is the control module which, the manual, says is attached to the cross member behind the sunroof and under the head lining.
Perhaps that is mid way between the axles and so the cable lengths from the antennas to the control module are the same?
Ours is not to reason why...ours is but to do and try to fix it
