Can a stealer re-tro fit criuse control

On the hunt for me next disco3, seems we need to go to SE spec to get cruise, but it comes with sat nav and leather (sat nav will be where our tacho sits), two things we're not realy interested in.

In the absence of finding another ex-highways with it already fitted on the police spec vehicle, does any of our friendly members working for stealers know whether it can be re-tro fitted or TLO
Thumbs Up

Easy, just buy the steering wheel buttons from a dealer (or Nick of course), then if you are lucky cruise will work straight off (did for me), if not it needs activating. Ian TFC can do it or any dealer Thumbs Up

that great coz the difference in price at aution between S and SE is around £1500 squid for a car that we're going to run and run until it becomes uneconimical to repair, then its off-roading for it!!!

Dealers can't activate cruise control as they need an engineering code, which LR won't give out as activating CC represents a 'specification change'

However...... Whistle I can 8)

now that interesting coz those I've seen so far on 55 plates dont. Might be looking at another one to run along side, seems there's a few dealers who appreciate us taking stuff enclosed without a premium price Thumbs Up

As the gunea pig (probably spelt wrong!!!) for the forum who had this done first as a test for others Very Happy I can say for sure that TFC or TFC + inflation does a gr8 job on enabling retro fitted cruise control Bow down - works a treat on my base 7 D3 and many others have benefitted from this also.

So Retro Fit cruise controls on yr steering wheel, very easy to do yourself, then let TFC work his magic!!!

Go on give it a go!!

Thumbs Up
