Can you use AFS headlights for cornering only? facelift D4
Hi,
Someone on the German D4 Facebook Group needs a pair of Facelift D4 headlights. And I have some LHD units (ebay trigger finger...). We are trying to work out if he can use them.
We have:
EH22-13W029-EE vs EH22-13W029-HD
EH22-13W030-EE vs EH22-13W030-HD
EE is installed on the car (damaged) HD is what I have.
I believe I have a higher specification headlight with AFS and Cornering. His wiring is as per the attached. My crash course on the topic suggests that his wiring supports cornering but not AFS. Is this right?
In short, is it possible for him to install and use these without errors related to AFS (or loss of other functions)? He has an IID tool.

PS How much work is it to install AFS and is this well documented in a thread?

Yes they can - I have latest 4.5 AFS Xenons and switch cornering to enabled and it works beautifully
