I'm safe for a while. She travelled down to Liverpool by train on Sunday as she was lecturing on Monday morning. I offered to drive but she wanted me on hand for younger child who has just finished summer hols after 2 months off (literally).
Cut forward to her arrival at 16.30, and her phone call to me to advise that she'd left her credit cards in Uddingston.... and was flying out to Malawi on university business on Monday so no chance of a courier.... so I did an 8-hour round trip to Liverpool and got back at 00.30......
So I'm in the good books for a wee while. At least til she gets back from Malawi - and she wasn't impressed when I told her that her flight into Glasgow clashed with my hockey match....

A round trip to Liverpool! You suck up!
And word get round Scott.
I was volunteered to do my MILs fence a while back. Then one of her sons said he’d do it, so to forget it. I made a comment to SWMBO this week that he still hadn’t done it and low and behold I was volunteered to do it again! I made another comment that I had lots to keep me busy without the MILs fence and I got it in the neck and reminded she was a widow.
