Can't lock keys in car... |
|
Had emptied boot and left keys in car on top of transk9 and noticed every time I tried to shut boot it double pipped and unlocked boot for me.
Nice touch. MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

Yeah, until you open just the boot via the boot latch (ie keyless entry) put your keys down and slam the boot....then it's not such a nice touch!

Same as dubbs, Disco locked, popped the boot with the handle, not the fob, put the fob on the mat, went to close the boot, just kept popping open and two little beeps.
Remove the fob from the mat, closed, and alarmed.

Will not work on yours. Well did not work on my 2008 RRS.
Probably a feature on post 2013 or something

i fell for this, left keys in fleece and chucked it in the boot. it kept opening it every time i shut it got in car drove home thinking boot latch faulty until i got to front door and realised my keys were in the boot
it will lock if you have one set inside and it can sense another set outside at the same time, I've successfully locked SWMBO's keys inside the car before. MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

Hmmm, it works on ours too
Not sure if it's an update (it's just come back from LR) or whether the sales guy just didn't know what he was talking about never tested it before

Probably the sales guy not knowing what he was talking about.
When looking around our D4, I wanted to check the condition of the third row seats so put them up. The sales guy said that it was a pity Land Rover hadn't thought of where to put the load cover whilst the third row is in use As you slide down the banister of life
