You've waited 2 months to post the question...only 2 more to go! (Assuming of course you
mean May 2011? )
No personal experience but from having seen other threads then you're not alone in having to wait. TBH 4 months doesn't sound all that bad!
Sounds like a nice car although personally I'd spend the supaguard money on a detailer for better results.
Roll on May

I ordered my D4 on the 15th of February with a May 20th delivery date but have since been told by the salesman that I could have it by the end of April (Although I am not building my hopes up)
Last week I asked to add an item to my original order but they couldn't do it as it was too far through the order process, however the salesman rang somebody he knows in order control at the factory and they have agreed to amend the order.

When I picked up my D4 11 days ago my stealer was saying that people ordering a new D4 now will get it September. He was saying it was a bit annoying as they only have a certain allocation (pretty sure it was 3 or 4 D4s) which gets quickly sold and he reckons he's lost orders because people aren't prepared to wait that long. On the whole Mercedes and Audi seem to wait around 2-3 months.
He also said that a lot of the cars being produced, and why they have a small allocation, are being shipped out to places like China as there's an unusually high demand and they make a bit more due to exchanges/tax etc.
On the upside he added that unlike BMW and Merc ML etc the relative scarcity of the D4 does mean you're more likely to get better residuals. Which I think is probably true as if you look at an equivalent Merc ML, they're "cheap as chips".
