(noun) - Métier is a French word roughly meaning one's "area of expertise" or that activity one does well. Apparently, this métier business is frequently lost; I have read of many rapturous instances where So-and-so found his or her métier on some glorious day.
In art, some people like to use the word métier to mean "that which the artist does best", or "that subject with which the artist is most comfortable." Personally, I think "strength", "specialty" or even, descending to slang, "bag" sounds a lot less pretentious, if a group of native English speakers are discussing art. But, that's just me. 2007 TDV6 HSE 'Silver Lady'. With 'free' privacy glass LOL.

Regarding the dome light - what the heck? Mine works fine without needing the key, and the Manual explains how to turn off the reset by holding the button for 5 seconds.
