Car leans to the left.

I have noticed that my car seems to lean the the left a few degrees when its parked. I have never really bothered about this, as it always felt OK when driving it.

However, yesterday my wife and I bought a car from a private seller in Liverpool, and I drove the new purchase home, with my wife driving the Disco. It was very noticable that the car was leaning left on the road too. It looked very awkward actually.

I will be talking to the dealer about it on Tuesday. It probably needs recalibrating or something.

Hi Gareth

Would be interested to hear what your dealer has to say as my Disco also leans to the left when parked. I've checked the tyre pressures but have never followed it on the road when being driven by someone else.

Like you I have never noticed anything strange when driving it.

Many thanks.

If I drive with the 4x4 info screen on, this also back up the lean. The wheels on the screen are not cetred on the horizontal line when driving straight and level.

If I am right, it will be down to calibration. I think the process to set the system is fairly rudimentary, and involves measuring the distance from various points on the chassis, to ground and using test book to calibrate.
