Don't be off about it. It'll just wind you up and make you feel bad. Don't get stressed - it's just a car, after all.
Other than that, if you're worried about repairs, is it something a smart repairer might be able to sort out?Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Any cctv around, it is classed as criminal damage, they should report it by law, you must report it, whoever’s done it will have damaged their vehicle, if they try to claim insurance for the damage to their vehicle the police may well be involved, if you find the culprit claim a new rear bumper, sensors and wiring.
I had a similar incident a few years back with my RR at a “Y” junction, guy never stopped at the junction and hit me broadside and never stopped, 10 weeks later I received a phone call from police, he had made a claim on his insurance and stated where the collision happened, cost him dear in the end.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

A relative had the rear end of her Citroën resprayed last week. It was damaged in the car park outside her flat within 24 hours of having it back.
The learner who drove into the parked Citroën made a fulsome apology, but it's got to go back to the body-shop again.
As longs as rust insn't going to be an issue I tend to leave minor issues until just before I sell a car. I live in a rural area, where hedge scratches are inevitable, but I guess than in cities miro scrapes are all too common.

I'm with NJSS on that. Repairing it to make it "as good as new" just means the next time someone does something you get all stressed again.
Mine has a couple of marks on it - one from someone brushing the corner of the front bumper, for example. I've left it. The same with the little mark where someone else did the car park door dance. It's got a couple of light (polish out type) bramble scratches down the near side.
Best things is not to wash it too often - road grime covers a multitude of annoying, but ultimately unimportant, daily use marks.
And for those who say "but why should you put up with damage, blah, blah, blah?". Well, you live with people around you and not all of them give a stuff. So stuff happens. Getting stressed about such things is just "first world problem" time. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

I am not over stressed about this damage, just really annoyed by the lack of care, or ability of others. My question was probably badly worded. I was really looking for solutions. I will repair it, because my thoughts differ from some posters. My car is tidy, if I let this damage stay, then it happens again, I will soon have a tatty vehicle. I do have tatty vehicles, but this one will be kept looking nice. Some may disagree, but that is me !!!!

I know the moment!!!
Fiat Multlipla door against my car (with me inside), "She" told me, "NOO I've never hit your car!!!!"
that's why I have side-steps on mine, although wouldn't have helped in this case.

What made the pain worse was, I was late getting to the Hospital, thats why I put it in the main car park, instead of Morrisons as usual. Then came out and paid for my ticket in advance as usual, finally got into the car after noticing the damage. It cost me £6 for no time at all.
BUT.......when I went to drive out, some other angry motorist had destroyed the barrier, so I just drove out through the gap...................needed not have paid the £6 to get out.
It just wasn't my day......................1955 SWB Series 1 86 inch

I too usually park at Hereford Morrisons when visiting the hospital - there are more options to park where the door swingers and half blind numpties are less likely to harm you.
You could take it to Lobake at Sweetmans Yard down Plough Lane for an estimate. They do a very good job, but it's cash only. My last scrape cost me £350 which was the same as my excess.MY12 D4 HSE Ipanema Sand
