I'm fairly new to this forum but given I've had such great help reciently from the folk here, I thought I would pass on a tip if anyone is looking to buy a second hand car, particulary a LR.
When I was looking to buy my D4, a friend of mine recommended I contact Burcham Car Sourcing run by Ross Burcham. Best thing I ever did as it took all the stress and hassle out of finding a decent car and didn't cost me a penny. Ross will find any cars but I do know he is a LR specialist (I think he used to run a LR dealership) and knows a huge amount about them all and owns them himself. He is based in Hazlemere but sources cars from around the whole country and obviously has a great relationship with dealers across the UK.
I was delighted with the Disco he found me - he checked it out loads of them before giving me a call to say he had found the perfect one for me. Once he had taken delivery of it, he gave it another check over and even replaced the break disks free of charge as they were on the way out.
I reckon he saved me money on the price of the car itself and prevented me the lottery of buying a Disco with issues as I don't have much car knowledge. Highly recommended, fantastic service and a really nice bloke too.

I have a family dealer not far from me, between Mansfield and Matlock, called Proctor Cars
I got my last Freelander 2 from them and it was immaculate. Same as most of their stock which are apparently all bought cash by the owner so its a debt free business.
They will also source any car for you, and ive been told they will even buy direct from a main dealer at trade prices on your behalf. 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten
