Simon , that was it. I couldnt remember where I was. I dont recal it happening more than once but i was trying so many TA settings, gears, DSC on/off etc I must have lost track..
It was a very muddy, slippy and rutted section on a slight incline. if i remember correctly the car wasnt rolling backwards, cos it wasnt steep enough, but seemed to happen when one or more wheels suddenly got traction, albeit very limited. power dropped as if TC had kicked in an then stalled Duncan

Mine never stalls, but a mate of mine quizzed me when he saw me towing 3 tonnes out of a wet field. Said his would have kept stalling, what was i doing differently to him? Tried the same thing with his, it stalled and seemed under powered. 10 days at the local LR dealer and they found a faulty fuel sensor
