Caravan club site @ Chatsworth

Folks

Just had a lovely few days at the club site at Chatsworth. First time we have been there, but its a really nice site, in the old walled garden of Chatsworh Park. There is a door in the wall for which you get a key, so direct access to Chatsworth park, from which its about 15mins walk to the house going one way, and about the same to the other way to 2 pubs. You do still have to pay if you want to go into the house and garden though.

Bakewell is about 4 miles away, and had a ride up to Buxton too.

Will defo be heading back.

I will stand corrected on this but you do get a discount at the House and Garden entry by showing your site receipt.

As you will be heading back, we've booked the next BH at Chatsworth and the first week of August for the Bakewell Show. Thumbs Up

@ washwipe - not any more you dont. Your site reciept gets a discount at one of the pubs and the farm shop, but not at the house & gardens. Big Cry

We are heading back to this site later in the year, might see you there Wink

If you can get out of the door having spent less than £100 you have done well.

I have used the farm shop quite a lot over the years, but no longer use the butcher. I find their meat quality variable at best and always a very high price. There are other butchers locally who are better value.
However, for sheer breadth of choice, the shop is astonishing.
