Ok currently with CCC for insurance , however it’s suddenly dawned on me that my insurance would be void if I had my van stolen from the storage facility! You see they don’t fit wheel locks when they put them away. So...... had a requote for the new van and it’s a lot dearer. Are there any others worth Loki g at ? Caravan guard don’t seem to want to quote me unless I tick every security box online. So might need to phone first !

I believe you get a discount on ccc insurance for having wheel locks fitted ( two if twin axle). I think you can opt out of the discount if that makes sense. I’d Give them a call.
We fit ours whilst in storage. Currently 2015 D4 SE Tech, Corris Grey
RLD Protector, led interior lights, timed climate, towing equipment

The issue is that the van is not put into storage by me. The site owner does it, will need to ask if they will fit locks. Otherwise I may need to move the van to somewhere else.
They did quote me without wheel locks fitted and it was an extra £70. Looking favourite so far but will double check what they are quoting me !

Can you not allow the site owner to put your van in position and then go in and fit the wheel lock yourself afterwards

I was quoted by the CCC an extra £30 for not having my wheel locks on, so I didn't bother declaring them this time.
Still fit the hitch lock at all times, and the wheel locks when it's in storage or on the drive but not when out on site because jacking it up to fit them both (twin axle) can be a pain/ hazard when on a soft grass pitch! 2014 D4 XS

I possibly could however the problem arrises when I come to pick it up or stay on site. As they want 24hrs notice for removing and putting away.

Think I will double check today with them and go ahead with the insurance. It’s an expensive van but also need to right insurance! The dealer told me about his sorry mistake when his van got nicked!

Yep the 2nd to last thing you want is it being stolen, but the last thing you want is it not being paid out on!
I even fit my hitch lock if we stop at the services as it's far too easy for someone to unhitch and drive off with it. 2014 D4 XS

@ james - fitting your hitchlock at services is something I do as well, but only works if you dont use a bolt on towball, as I have seen a vid where the scrotes turned up, undid the 2 towball bolts, backed up their transit and bolted the ball back onto this and away - less than 2 mins - with hitchlock still in place.

Just for 30% discount with Caravan Guard not sure weather to go new for old. When we stop on route use our own toilet and make drink don't leave the van alone.

You don't normally get a discount for "new for old"
Generally the new for old will cost more as it's based upon the price as new today. Lets say that is £15K. The market value basis of insurance is then a cheaper option as the cover is based on its used value today - say perhaps £8K.
What you paid for it months or years ago doesn't really come in to it.
Not forgetting that even if you declare you don't have the locks, there can still be a policy condition stating you must use them.

Try the A-Plan people who are site sponsors. They will give a discount if you have vehicle and caravan with them. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
