Thanks all - much appreciated!
Collecting it tomorrow
It comes with 'universal' extended mirrors but remains to be seen whether or not they work with powerfold mirrors. Will swap for your suggestions if necessary. Owner confesseses that battery not taking/holding a charge so will replace. First use will be an overnighter without elec hook-up so will need batt for lighting, although fridge will run off the gas. Doesn't have motor mover.
Tyres are 3yo and look good. Already planning to check wheel nuts and don't plan to drink the water that passes from aquaroll via pump to 'van taps. Will get a double plug converter as suggested. , LR history:

It really does not matter where one sits as one looks into mirrors which are set the same distance out from the side of the vehicle. It is as if one was to sit that few inches out amd look backwards - it would be from the same distance out each side.
There will be a difference in the size of the field of view though. This is so small that it is not noticed by the brain. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill.
