Ii have a Thule 4 bike rack on the removable tow bar.

Do D4s come with factory tow electrics? if not you'll struggle I think.. I cant remember how much the bikes obscure the lights, I would guess a picky copper might pick you up on it..

Upgrading from Freelander2 to a D4 in 2 weeks. Fixed towbar in place, and a thule bike carrier ready to be used.

Will still need to use the roof, when towing the caravan. Car has roof rails. Can anyone suggest a good roof bar system to use?

You will also need electrics for the light board if you currently don’t have it fitted

Hello,
Is there any updated wisdom on which is the best rear mounted rack for a D4 to carry 3 bikes?
Definitely need to be able to access the rear without taking the bikes off, so a tilt or swing out would be good.
Looks like MaxxRaxx are not trading anymore Big Cry

I've got an Atera Strada. Really good and it tilts away nicely.
Today is the oldest you've been and the youngest you'll ever be again.

MaxxRaxx are not trading but they come up quite frequently on auction sites. I have one on which I carry 5 bikes and it is bomb proof.
