Have been to De Kempervennen three times with the last time being in February this year. Can thoroughly recommend it. Much more laid back than the mad rush at the UK parcs. Skiing and snowboarding very good in the snow dome.

Which one are you looking at? There are several and the differences are great. You could check zoover and I will be happy to translate some of the comments on there if needed.

Very varied responses on Trip Adviser, seems to be fine if you get a renovated cabin but some sites showing their age. Aiming to get the ferry to Amsterdam and then looking for a site with sailing opportunities. Will also get out and about and explore NL.
I'll have a good look at De Kempervennen.

Hi BCP,
if you want to go sailing, I think you should look at Eemhof, Port Zélande or Parc Zandvoort.
Eemhof is situated at a lake where you can go sailing. The water is quite shallow there so choice of boats limited. The other are near to the sea shore. Zandvoort only offers sailing on the North Sea, Port Zélande will allow you to sail on a (big!) lake.
Eemhof is in the middle of the country, but then again, we Dutchmen are not used to the distances you guys travel... 100 mls takes us to the other side of the country .
Please post if you have any more questions!
