Changed HeadLight bulbs

I am sure this has been covered to death but .......

Minor mod but have been really disappointed on the D4 headlight front. Very yellow lights and make driving in non-lit streets pretty tiring.

This could have been due to the near side headlight bulb being out Embarassed - I was quite surprised that one of the 'puters didnt tell me.

I went to Halfords to buy a replacement. They had an offer on to "buy one get one free" on the +130% jobbies. I decided to go with these, twice the price of regular but thought at £30 was worth a risk

Must say, apart from a slight blue hue at the top of the light when facing a wall they are pretty good for £30. Nice white light and a better distance than the old ones.

Thumbs Up

They are great while they last, having gone through 2 sets of the 100% brighter forunners (in 2 cars) I can vouch for the fact that they blow way quicker than the normal halogens, the reason why I did the Hids mod on the D3

I would be interested to see how you get on with the new "ultimate's" though, I assume these are the Ring derivatives that you have bought, they are supposed to last better?
