I was about to say that bulbs don't "run out of gas" but Googled to check and... they do.

So the quality & thickness of the glass is going to be important, and also the build quality where the glass is sealed so that it doesn't leak there either.

The advice to change them every 5 years rather implies that they should still be working at five years old. Complete failure at nine months is Censored .

i fitted osram night breaker laser xenarc 12 months ago, absolutely amazing
 had a d1 ,d2 a land mark d4 for 3 days now have awsome d4 in orkney grey hse sdv6 my12

yes they were, but i dont know how old the others were.
3 year warranty though Thumbs Up
