Changing wiper blades
How do I change my D3 wiper blades? I can only lift the blade an inch or so off the screen, not to a just-about-upright position as on earlier. lesser cars and I don't want to go breaking anything or dismantling them and not being able to get them back.
Thanks, guys!

There is a small clip that needs pressing befor you can push the blade out of the holder (arm), I did mine a few months ago and spent an age looking to see how to remove it (no doubt like you). If you had filled in you email address in you profile I would have sent you a picture of the clip which I have just taken.
PM me you email and I will send you a picture of the old wiper showinf the clip.2010/60 Discovery 4 XS Zermatt Silver - Privacy Glass, Timed Climate (with remote), Voice, 4x4 screen, Bong on lock/un-lock (Pete BellAutos)

Can you post the picture publicly - I'm getting cheesed off with the wiper squeak and only 5 weeks away from service #2 am considering the non-LR blade optionSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Thanks for your replies. Do I have to buy a LR blade or are there alternatives? Will I need a second mortgage?
My email address is in my profile but if I log out and check my profile, the system thinks I haven't got an email address and there is no email option. Also, I didn't get notification of the replies. Have I done something wrong?

I bought some Valeo wiper blades, did a search on google or it may have been flea bay I paid £25 for the pair (make sure you order a pair) absolute silence when they were fitted!
Here is the company link http://www.speeding.co.uk/acatalog/Valeo_XTRM__Wiper_Blades.html I telephoned and they are most helpful, tell them its for a Disco 3.2010/60 Discovery 4 XS Zermatt Silver - Privacy Glass, Timed Climate (with remote), Voice, 4x4 screen, Bong on lock/un-lock (Pete BellAutos)

Members emails are only available to logged on members (otherwise you'd get all sorts of spam) and even then only the facility to email you via the site, you don't get to see other members addresses unless you choose to respond directly to them by email
If you want notification of replies either select 'Always notify me of replies' in your profile or click 'Watch this topic for replies' at the top of the page or select 'Notify me when a reply is posted' from the options when posting
