I thought it was on the back of a flatbed truck so was a bit of a surprise to see a D4 in the front. It was fairly stonking along.

You can tow at 60mph on a dual carriageway, 50mph on a single carriageway. https://www.practicalcaravan.com/advice/49...-a-caravanDS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Nah, was deffo a D/cway. It was not sure l’contonent and him overtaking me. I got behind it about 2 miles before the “large” bit of dual carriageway just before Drumochter so no point in even thinking about it. I have been known to overtake, just got a few less horsies to do it with now.

It's 60mph on a divided (with a central reservation) dual carriageway, otherwise it's 50mph.There are two rules for success,
1. Never tell everything you know.

Which was what he was doing, after 50mph on the “normal” bits of the A9. As I said, stonking. I had to go up to 70 to quickly get round, that’s almost nose bleed speeds!!
