Charging the van battery when towing

This may be a stupid question but when towing a caravan with a 13 pin socket am I charging the van battery by default, or do I have to turn the main isolator switch on the main board inside the van?

Cool ta, I know the fridge works without the master switch when towing but wasn't sure whether the same applied to the leisure battery.
Don't really want to rock up to a meet this weekend with no EHU and a flat battery Big Cry
Don't think the solar panels will be contributing much either!

Every caravan I've owned has overridden 12v switch in van once engine started and charged battery and run fridge

12v switch should be off when attached to vehicle to avoid draining leisure battery when stopping engine if anything left on by mistake
