Charging via Cigarette Lighter socket

Are any of the cigarette lighter sockets permanently live ? looking for a convenient temporary solution to needing to trickle-charge regularly.

Access to towing sockets isn't an option at the moment.

That’s the way. ^^^^^ Or a direct feed to the +ve bit of one of the socket sets (ciggie or aux) from 2nd batt. Thumbs Up

PS That’s the set up for the D4 with the aux sockets live off 2nd battery.

Here is the inside of the passenger fuse box. One of my 20amp auxiliary sockets died. Fuse didn't blow. I had a look inside the fuse box to if I could fix it. Not possible as the circuit wiring is on an inside face, so not possible to get to, so I will add a jumper lead.

Most of the fuses have the same location as the Freelander.

The plugs are really well designed, you pull out the red clip & have access to the pins & push a plastic bit beside the pin to release the pin.

Once all put back together, car worked, just had to reset date & time.
