Hello
Need to do a bot more dismantling but think my 2nd engine has died. 2nd hand Jag engine fitted 4 years ago by Landrover. Cost me around £5000 doing various other bits.
It's a 12 year old car, with over 250,000 miles so practically worthless, but I am strangely fond of her. I bought a 2 post lift and took the body off to swap the crossover pipe last year. New clutch, put on springs, new exhaust, suspension arms all round all in the last 12 months.
Any suggestions to get a 2nd hand working engine as cheaply as possible and I may attempt a DIY engine swap. I have a good selection of tools and a massive workshop.

Buy the jag, drive it around a bit to confirm it is good, engine out, new belts etc.
