Chevron Oil at Costco

Chevron Oil at Costco

They have bulk 20 Litre packs of this 5W-30 oil at Costco at present for £40.23 each.

Are the oil specs correct ( they would appear to be but I am no expert, hence the thread) for the TDV6 Disco3 and would anyone suggest using it ???

Seems like a good deal but the sceptic in me says it must be to cheap to be true....

That's really cheap for synthetic ....... they start at 4 Quid a litre here for Castrol on special here

Hi Simon,

according to SteveNormans post on the thread http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic28472-15.html the specs of the chevron oil match the quoted Ford spec in Steves posts (chevron specs: https://www.cbest.chevron.com/generated/MSDS/PDS28253215.PDF)

So looks to be fine if Steve's info is correct - which i believe to be

Gary Gone: Java Black TDV6, Auto, HSE - yum, yum Smile
(Gone: 96' V8 ES Charleston Green, 96 V8 ES Black)
Toy: Southern Roadcraft Cobra, 383ci Chevy V8
