Chinese off roading

Hi as my d4 now has 2500kms it's no longer "new" so I went offroading with the chinese landrover experience
this is the line up

In the distance a D3 fell of the track

can you see them? One got stuck in the dip for about an hour (the six wheel polaris also got stuck there too..I however did not Very Happy )

anyhoo you can see some more in my gallery

The Chinese are fair game to play considering the most expensive vehicle due to tax (rangie) is a quarter of a million pounds here(the cheapest D3 goes for about 70K). one vehicle damaged the front end a bit and a few dragged arses here and there (ooh er)
The guy who hosted the event has 7 discoveries (one for each home)

oh almost forgot you will see a landmark in a photo but over here its called "black and white special edition" thats 170k if you fancy one. the one here had 2000kms on the clock (also not "new " then).

Most of my offroad experience has been in defenders and I think you would struggle to get one some places we went (on road tyres). very impressive vehicle.
It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

I don't think these black and white special editions are the same as a Landmark? Different specs, glass roof etc. In the States I've noticed they even have black and white special editions that look like Landmark's, but with more gear and V8 lumps!

extort I mean export

You can import any car any age however you need to pay tax at the models current new rate or if not avail at the forcasted new sale price plus import tax 25% plus car tax 20% plus engine tax upto 40% plus sales tax 20%

you dont need to be a diplomat to do it (but if you are you avoid some taxes)
You will have to grease some palms on the customs side or it will never see the light of day.
so overall you may just lose a few grand in the process.

An aquaintance imported an american F150 after all taxes 300k(pounds)$42,000.00 in USA

one of these
