Chrome Shadow Wheels
Does anybody have the LR chrome shadow wheels on their D3, or have any photos of these wheels?
There is a picture of them in the accessories cat, but its not always easy to tell from these. They look nice but maybe in real life they look nasty.07 D3 Zermatt Silver, Stainless Steel Tubes, Chrome Mirror caps, Tints.
My opinion is they look nice when clean, but with mud/road dust on them.
If buying second hand, watch if they have been polished a few times, as once the laquer has started to wear away you only have 2-3microns of chrome effect paint before the black base coat. They are also difficult to paint and impossible to touch up.

May be cheaper for you to buy a set of std 19"hse wheels & get them 'shadowed'
TBH, I was happy to pay my £400 for 19 & MTR's, but I would NEVER pay £1900 for a set of wheels.
But that's just me being a tight git
If you like them, buy them, but I'd get the dealer to show you one in the flesh first Bodsys Brake Bible

Yeah this is why im stalling a bit, i would like to see them first. But i havent seen any and the dealer would have to order them in. Do you think that is a lot for the Wheels, tyres, fitted and VAT?07 D3 Zermatt Silver, Stainless Steel Tubes, Chrome Mirror caps, Tints.

It all depends what you are using the car for, if it is going to be an on road only then they might be great. If you do want them then maybe shop around at that priceDS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
DS3 TDV6 HSE- Silver with Alpaca (new one) Gone
D4 HSE Lux - Montalcino Red Gone
Porsche Cayenne V8 Diesel S
They do look good close up, try going to a local boy racer wheel shop (if you dare) they will have versions of the same finish, I think Halfords do some as well.
