Climate control temperature higher on one side

Thought my climate control had packed in today until I went for the bonnet release and realised that the passenger side was cold enough. The drivers side temperature never seems to get cool enough. Is it a problem with the blend motors and has anyone fixed this issue before?

I had the opposite problem my passenger side always blew cold even in winter. The motors can be replaced I have done it. It is however a major faf as most of the dash and all of the center console as to come out. Have you tried to reset the HVAC system, I think you press the econ and recirculate buttons whilst turning the ignition on. that may get it going again.

Make sure the AC system is fully charged before tearing the dash apart. have seen low charge cause that issue before.

To close this one out, just had a recharge done today and it seems to have fixed the issue. No leaks in the system apparently so it’s probably the 1st time it’s had any attention for 10 years, it’s icy cold now!

Without a doubt, gotta do 5-600 miles this week and it’ll probably be nice and cool outside the car Laughing
