Maybe one with an integrated compass, so I know when I'm driving north on a cloudy day.
I do miss the compass in TD5's the rearview mirror Coffeecup

If you have BT phone integration, you could just dial 123.

I've not worn a watch for 10 yrs ( kept on breaking them ). There is always something around with the time on, but agree that if it was displayed on the centre console, a) would be better b) would stop me looking at the mpg all the time ................Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

Solved it my "Road Angel" is fitted dead centre in the lower part of my windscreen it has both clock & compass ! (knew it had a use)
The Disco 2 clock was a digital affair just to one side of centre low in dash - I wrote & asked that any new car had a anologue clock (i.e. with hands) which is much easier to see at a glance.
It would appear simple fixes just arent thought about. I have looked to work out where an accessory attachment cold be fitted & suggest there is a spot in the narrow ledge above the top glove box. A clock here would be seen quite easily.
Anybody who saya they dont watch the clock is telling "porkies" - we all look at the clock at some stage in the day.
The current D3 provision is very poorBREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

...and if you wear polaroid sunglasses, not only do you have to look down, but have to turn your head through 90 degrees to read the numbers!2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.
07MY is supposed to have an additional clock display in the message center, hopefully this will be available via a software upgrade for 05's and 06'sThe End
