Sorry.
But why would a private plate prevent cloning?
NJSS
It wont, but the chances of being cloned twice on different plates have got to be pretty slim? plus private plates are more noticeable so no wise crim is going to want them.
A regular location we go to, our vehicles have reg number to be booked forty eight hours prior, numbers are given to the local council, the company we go to get penalised if a reg number not on list goes to the site. All the people who work on site are only allowed in via Park and Ride, no private vehicles allowed, we are tracked via APNR cameras for the final seven or so miles. There is a four pages on A3 of registration numbers at security that get flagged up as mis reads by the APNR.

SWMBO has a parking space for work ‘rented’ off next door hotel car-park using ANPR. Her last Evoque picked up about a dozen fines due to ‘system issues’, was a complete PITA as fines routed to my company who then chase me and the clock and was always a rush to get ‘appeal’ in on time. In the end the hotel just ‘had it on a list’ and she had to ‘sign in’ every day (a PITA to her then). Glad when that car went

Why is it that only carpark/toll ANPR cameras spot me ? 3 years of driving round with a plate that triggers the above on isitnicked.com and I've never once been pulled over by the boys in blue.

Don't rule out the DART charge system being at fault. For instance, it can't cope with someone paying for someone else's car (eg: if you've borrowed it), you get a warning of a fine then have to contact them to tie the payment to the charge incurred and of course their attitude is "The computer says 'no'". Happened to us several times so there is a system fault somewhere.

Update ‘ after many phone calls and a lot of time studying the photo that was taken in the dark by there camera it looks like the last letter is defo an F not an E , I expanded the photo on my phone camera then screen shot it and its defo an F , I have now posted all evidence to them so we will see what they say -------------------------------------------------

It can't get any worse....
With the last letter being "E" or "F" - they are both a Landrover in Black (but the "F" is a Freelander)
