I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Safety Dance....Men Without Hats

Didn't have CD's in those days. Just Vinyl and Tapes. My record player did 45's & 78's too! Neutral

Always preferred vinyl as you could change track by jumping up and down on the bedroom floor. Laughing Tapes took an age to flick between tracks.

The Sinclair Spectrum had just been just recently been launched with 16k of RAM and you needed a tape cassette player for loading-on and saving stuff off it. Shocked

Just gone for a look on my system to see what a 16k file looks like these days:

That's it. Shocked The Spectrum couldn't have displayed this image as it was limited to 8 colours.

Feeling older now.......... Big Cry

You had remote control Shocked 8)

I remember the Spectrum, and Amstrad, and BBC and all that other stuff and waiting 30 mins to load a program from a tape only for it to crash or for it to be a bunch of yellow pixels that moved around the screen "eating" other coloured pixels....and sitting there for 2 days writing your own game to play Rolling Eyes

I even remember the launch of CDs, but I love vinyl Mr. Green

Nah, you ain't that old. Now if you start talking about trams, steam trains, planes made of wood and the first time you ever saw a banana.... Rolling with laughter

In fact Mrs RPG has NOW 3 on tape and loves to dance around the house singing along to it...older women Rolling Eyes

Wasn't a dig - just been thinking about other music from that year. Thumbs Up

In fact your post made me dig around for the listing for NTWICM 7, which in turn led me to 14 and 15, which is what inspired the above list. 8)

Had a ZX81 Shocked , then a Commodore64 Razz

And I still play vinyl - Although my Technics deck has long since been retired, replaced with a Project Debut II
