I'd forgotten to mention have removed OEM tow bar & replaced with a Tow Trust removable flange kit to get some ground clearance back.

Out of interest why was the active rear diff so important? I got a D3 momentarily stuck today ( with a heavy trailer on muddy grass ) and suddenly the idea of an active rear diff seemed like a good one!

Paul have you fitted a second battery and if so where?
I am looking for some decent spots to throw some light out front any recommendations? Just find main beam not good enough on unlit lanes sometimesMY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

DiscoHunter: I tow on a regular basis & am quite often off tarmac, every little helps re the active diff.
Dubbs: Yes to 2nd battery, it's behind the N/S boot panel where the tow bar is usually stored. Trying to get the car back into Simon to get the custom battery tray completed (he'll be doing a couple extra for me so if you want one....)
I can vouch for Laser as have used them for the last 4 years, awesome bit of kit with a great throw of light. The ones in pics are the ST4 - a spot flood combo, soon to be adding in 2x Triple R 750 E's for longer distance, both E marked so approved for road use.
Rigid Industries also a cracking bit of kit, looking for a link re a sale on somewherePaul.

It really is looking good, but there's one thing I don't understand; all the spec sheets for the HSE Lux and the later Landmark show that an active rear diff was never an option I'd understood that it was something to do with the electrical system not having enough connections to cope with rear DVD's and an active diff.
How did you manage it?2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
