Ignorance is bliss

On the M1 southbound this morning. Tied on with some of that plastic-covered washing-line.

What's the international hand gesture for "your mattress is about to fly off"? He probably thought the traffic was very light as there wasn't a vehicle for miles behind him.

Why, yes, I did, I have to admit Embarassed

A replacement bonnet and (very nearly) an old wooden ammo box that I had "secured" with one of the tow ropes it holds but that, on arrival home, was found to have slid back against the partly-open tailgate. TBH, I was more worried about it sliding forward during any sharp braking than it sliding backwards and had put a couple of loops round the head-rest of the flattened seat. I don't remember accelerating at 5 g.

It is a good job the box was bigger than the gap and it was restrained (albeit poorly) - the box comes from WWII and is marked "Bombs: Mk II Incendiary". Finding that would close a road for a while.

I'm as bad as that bloke ^^^ and a hypocrite, I know. Censored Whistle

Where was I spotted then? After Petworth? I had to stop at my Mum's house for a wee and would have spotted it.

One roundabout away from my home near the Body Shop then.

I hate that Morrisons roundabout.

I think that's what they call a 'first world problem'. No wonder you were incognito in the Yeti.
