Cold...won't start..

Cold...won't start..

Ahhhhhh!

It's minus 3. Not really that cold...but my old gal, 2005 disco, won't start.
I let the glow plug light go out but it just turns over.

But....I poured some hot water on a senser..as per this YouTube video..





at it started straight away...

What do i do now? What sensor is this ??

I do have a eberspacher but I don't think it works.

Any pointers would be grateful.

It probably means your glowplugs have failed. But they are very expensive to change as they can snap.

Apparently fitting a 5K resistor across the sensor is the same an pouring water on the sensor....

That's what I thought...glowplugs...but why does it start when you warm that one sensor ??? What is that sensor?
