Disco 3 seems to be getting quite common round here. Saw several yesterday, and two others on the 7 mile journey to the office this morning.
Now one thing seems to be a common factor, that is the vast majority are Silver! the next most popular colour seems to be Black. I haven't seen any of the other colours yet. I saw one this morning which was silver, but it had silver wheel arches and mirrors and bumpers also.
What colour is yours?

Most of the ones I've seen have been silver, but the works at Gaydon seem to be running quite a few green ones, and Guy Salmon in Stratford had a few blue ones ready for customers.
There don't seem to be any over here in Cambridge though

Mine will be Bonatti Grey and Black/Ebony... When it arrives that is...!
Have only seen a few D3's and they have all been silver. They look good, but I have had a silver car for the last 3 years & I need a change.

I've seen a couple of Silver, one Grey and one Tonga Green on the road, Black and Blue also at dealers
I like the look of Alveston Red myself and may order mine in that colour, but I tend to keep cars for quite a while (into my 7th year on my current one) so I may play it safe and go for the silver which doesn't tend to show any of the inevitabe minor scratches over time at much as other colours. Need to see a red one in the flesh before deciding.
It does annoy me slightly that they charge an extra £500 for metallic paint when there are only two non-metallic colours available. I'm not that fussed about metallic, although it does look a bit better (when the vehicle's clean anyway), it always costs more to buy and and is more diffcult to maintain.
Has anyone noticed that on the 'Build Your Own Land Rover' site there is the option of (but no picture of) 'Buckingham Blue'? I've not seen this any mention of this third blue anywhere else.

Slimer,
According to my dealer the Alveston Red will be replaced quite soon - apparently it is the least popular colour!
Best be quick if you want one.

Maybe I'll wait to see what replaces it then, unless it's Buckingham Blue which would mean no red available at all.
There's bound to be a G4 special edition in Orange at some point though, maybe I should wait for that....

Love the color...it doesn't show a bit of dirt after driving in the rain.

Mine is also Zambezi Silver with Ebony interior and privacy glass.
Although this colour is used in the marketing materials it really does have the advantage of not showing dirt !
The Bonatti Grey really looks bad when dirty (IMHO). I have seen two now on the M25/M3 and for each I thought " I didnt know the Disco3 came in brown' ? !!!

Only seen one other silver D3 locally, there are at least a dozen in the area that I pass on the way to work but they're all either bonatti grey, black or dark blue. I like to see the detailing contrast of the silver with black trim. Normally I always choose dark blue with a light interior but silver really does look perfect for the car. 2005 TDV6 SE Silver/Black Manual + Alpine

I think silver is great too! It hides the dirt well in a strange sort of way

Most evenings, If I am not out on the road, I drive home from the office through High Lane, down Andrew Lane, Windlehurst Rd,Torkington Lane, into Hazel Grove, Stockport, in my silver D3. There are two other silver D3's that are going in the opposite direction. I see them regularly at about 5.45 - 6pm.
You know who you are!! are you on this site???

Having agonised for a long time, I have now asked my local dealer to try to find an HSE in Tonga Green with Tundra interior. I particularly like the Tundra interior, with the dash mouldings, door panels etc, in harmonising shades. I think I would be happier accepting a different exterior colour than changing the interior. I'm now waiting for a phone call to see what's available! Anybody share my feelings for colour schemes? By the way, has anyone seen a Disco3 in Vienna Green? Ray.
