Colour and Spec
New D4 getting ready for March
Currently spec is almost the same as my less than a year old one, soon not to be mine...but I cant decide if there is anything I really should have...potentially the option is the extended roof rails, ive removed the TV (surround cameras, in control, tinted windows, heated steering, tow stuff etc etc on a HSE) Ive lived without the fridge for a year so im not bothering...anything else?
Red or Grey though - theres the questionMike

Hi Mike,
Red is more 'adventurous' with possibly a smaller target group of buyers when you sell it, gray is a classic colour and definitely very easy to sell. To be honest I love both, personally I went for gray as you know. If I bought one now would I get a red one? Probably would stay with gray.
However, there are a couple of new MY15 colours, so do have a look at those too...

Another grey was my first choice...I liked red (Firenze I think) and that was the only my wife liked.
White is off - 2 of those max for a colour
Black - ill never have another black land rover after the last

Well, just checked all the colours in the brochure; I don't know if you'd go for a premium one, but barossa looks very nice and there is also a new red out, montalcino red, which I've never seen in the flesh.
I must admit that firenze red with the black pack looks really really nice. I think I've changed my mind, would go for that... can I now change my vote?

The Aintree is a very classic Land Rover colour too.
And you won't have the cost and hassle of changing all the badges to black, as it's already got some nice matching ones.

Don't - I was tempted to get a defender...still tempted!
Many colour choices!! Red's cool - I wouldn't get the black pack as most of it doesn't appeal - especially the wheels, but its growing on me.
Grey is the most forgiving v Red when it comes to things like being dirty and stonechipsMike

I've just got a Firenze red one. HSE with black pack. That gives you extended roof rails as part of the deal plus black 20" wheels.
Only major extra we went for is heated steering wheel. Not bad if I'm honest.
As mentioned before, red is a brave colour come resale. But It does stand out.Best of British
