Tested mine today after it lost all its charge over the winter.
Nitrogen test, lost 3 bar in 2 hours.
Sprayed soapy water over everything, good soaking, found 2 leaks on condenser.
Viewed from front of car, lower left and upper left area.
New condenser on order. Then need to find a reasonably priced re-fill service.

Be aware, that I and others discovered, that at least 1 of the 2 ‘O’ rings supplied with the Nissens condenser was not the right size.D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

Just changed it out. Not bad at all. The two T40 bolts that are positioned on their own were very corroded in, as many suggest. A good soak with deblock oil (the best i've found for seized bolts by far) and careful loosen-tighten-loosen sequences and they came out fine, but were Very tight.
THe O-rings with the unit were not correct, i purchased new seals by the LR PN#. Althought the originals looked in fine condition.
Other than that, a nice easy job, new condenser on pressure test now. Re-gas booked in for next week, a mobile guy came recommended (Kent-Sussex area) for £45, which is great.New Engine - Fitted with body on...

I did my condenser on my D3 a couple of days ago. Drivers t40’s came out ok. Passenger side however I had to work them in and out very gently a tiny amount to get them to move. Even then I sheared off the T40 but I was using! Ended up using the impact one I had on a long handled ratchet.
The bottom two rails fell off my condenser so god knows how long it’s not had gas in for
