Looks like there is an 8 pin connector on the main loom that plugs into the dock module.
That has just 4 connections, power from the CJB, ground and a low speed Can pair.
there is also a coax connector that goes to the back of the touch screen with obviously signal and ground.
If i had a dock i would find a connector and some pins for it, and tap into a suitible supply and ground, and also splice into the twisted Can pair. Then i would make up a coax lead.
It might be possible to open the dock de solder the connector and put wires straight into the PCB though

Colin ..are you on about the RR or D3 ? ..If D3 were would the plug be ? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I don't think its an option on the D3, have to check the sport. so i looked up an 09 FFRR

Nope, not on the sport wiring diagram either, i checked the 2009 one.
Makes you wonder why its in the T5 CCF at all then.
Maybe they considered it as an option and built in the configuration for it but never actually implimented it.
But you never know, it could be an option that is not shown on the CD, not the first time i have come across that.
