New FoMoCo pump and genuine LR seal should see it right again
Cheers mikey
Are these items you can supply ? I have an account with europarts (obviously find myself there most weeks since I bought this car) so could possibly get the seal from there but would rather have a one that's tried and tested so to speak
Also need a new belt and tensioner kit what make would you recommend
Thanks in advance
Can do. Send me a PM if you'd like

Update
Got the beast back on Friday running like a dream again
Turned out it was just the crank shaft seal after all (it literally fell out when stripped down)
So I'm deffo classing this as a lucky escape
All be it costing a small bas@@@d fortune for a £12 part but suppose it could of been a lot worse
I decided to do the oil pump as the one that was on was after market one and figured in for a penny in for a pound so ordered one from Citroen with the part number off of disco mikey's threat (cheers mikey)
And while it was stripped down figured a new water pump wouldn't do any harm so after a little banter with the dude at Land Rover I got that down by 10% ( better than nothing)
All in with recovery , oil, coolant, belt kit, water pump, new seal, oil pump and labour £710
Sometimes wish I'd kept my trusty old Audi

Glad you got the beast back and all is ok now
If you had kept your Audi - where would all the fun be?? Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector
Limo Tint
Blackvue front & rear dashcam
Cruise control switch pack
Bodsy's remote for FBH
