Compressor change. AMK to Hitachi

Hi , new to all this. And this has probably been covered before, it been searching for hours.
I have a D3 with a fault AMK compressor fitted, I managed to pick up a good working Hitachi Pump as a replacement.
Spent most of the morning fitting it, only to find out afterwards that it has a 6 pin connection in stead of the 2 pin one on the AMK.
Now the pump is unable to exhaust any air from the system and is saying, communication fault.
Is there a way to convert the plug to work with the vehicle
All help most welcome 🙏

Have you seen this post, the lead should just connect up to the socket on the car, the AMK uses a different lead.

Flack Thumbs Up

Hi.
Sorry which post ?
The AMK ( old pump) has the same plug as the new pump , are you saying there is a different lead or an adapter ?
