Condinsation in adaptive headlights in HSE

Just took delivery last week of HSE. In the lower portion of the adaptive headlight, where it's an oblonge with a semi-circle cut out and a silver backing, my wife's HSE gets condensation on both headlights. Talked to the dealer and they said this is normal, they brought out rear tail lights & showed me "breather tubes" stating condinsation is normal. This doe's not feel right to me, any comments?

This is not normal. There is an article about it on Land Rovers GTR website.

Just as a matter of interest. My wife was born in Macclesfield and I schooled in Didsbury, it's a small world.

Yep its a small world. I was brought up in Woodford (Next to AVRO airfield), and went to Woodford primary school, followed by Bramhall High School, I now live in Bramhall.

I see condensation at times in my HID non-adaptive headlights. Land Rover never seems to make headlights that don't collect water Rolling Eyes

MY UK HSE adaptive headlights have the same problem. I have seen this on many cars and now just accept it.
The bulletin on the GTR site gives guidelines about how much condenstion is acceptable, If all you get is in the silver area, then its normal. If the condensation is over the beams then they may take action.
I was told the units are not sealed and the condensation id the result of moisture in the air condensing on a cold surface (ie wind cooled headlamp glass)
