Connecting phone through Aux

Hi all

first time Disco 3 owner. I have the basic spec which has an "Aux" button on the in car system but no "aux" input (i have looked in the place behind the center consol). can anyone point me in the direction of the best thread to find a solution to this please? I have two cigarette lighter adaptors in the front. thanks

When you say connect the phone, what is it you are trying to do with the phone?

Listen to music or actually make calls?

cheap car blue tooth using AUX

I use this with the button positioned on the right of the radio. TECEVO Bluetooth 5.0 Handsfree Car Kit - Bluetooth Music Receiver, NFC Quick Pairing, AUX Jack Playing Music And Hands Free Calling Car Adapter.
Simple cheap and auto connects and hands free to answer call just press big button. Smile

I fitted an audio socket to my last D3 using the DVD wiring in the nearside front footwell and then connected one of these

Thanks I have looked on Amazon and it seems you need an aux pin jack in the vehicle though and I don't have this, wondered if it would work through some kind of adaptor through the cig lighter? Thanks

If you follow Sea Raider's suggestion, you will gain an aux connection ... then you have several choices of how you connect.
