Coolant level

Hi All I'm afraid of the answer but my question is this. I get the low coolant warning flash up but have had the modified coolant tank fitted about two years ago. The temperature gauge never gets past normal and as hard as I search I can't find any leak but the coolant needs about half a litre to top it up. This happens every few months. Any ideas please.

I top mine up every 3 months (7000 km) or so. The indicated level is sometimes less when hot (pushed down uder pressure) than when cold with the tank open (pressure released). Mine only needs 1/4 litre. 1/2 litre does sound a bit much.

Take it to the dealer or mention it before the next service.
There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song
