coolant loss

morning folks, i am on holiday in france at the moment, i have notice some coolant loss.

I cant see anything in the oil filler cap, there doesn't appear to be any coolant from the pump or hoses,

There is a dripping from under the car in the middle or aroud the drivers door area?

anyone got any idea where this could be from please.

Cheers

mike,

Check the plastic caps on the cooling system vent lines, one is at the front of the engine and the other in the middle of the engine near the oil filter.

I also had an unexpected fluid leak and it turned out that these caps had come loose, traces of the leak on the ground were somewhere in the middle of the engine.

Could be a split in the coolant connector which sits under the throttle body in the Vee. If you get the engine cover off and shine a torch, you may see pools of coolant sitting in the block castings.
