Cyclists don't have to obey road signs. Don't you know anything? Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"

After Cameron was caught riding up a one way street in 2008, the government changed the regs to allow it in London ...they started with a trial and now it is carried out pretty much as an accepted practice.

Ah yes, don’t forget BoJo’s cycling “crimes” either.
I was a bit pi**ed last night, watched it on the 10pm news and found it funny that he had couldn’t go to the right.
Now I’m sober, he’s just another annoying cyclist who disregards road signs.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Has this change of the law been enacted? If so I, and I guess many others, are unaware of it.
Does it apply to London only, England or the whole UK?

Lots of places do this all over the world, its very common to cycle against the traffic on one way streets.D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

So how does the motorist know what to expect? I've seen no warnings when driving down one-way streets in London.
Does this exemption apply to Ebikes, motorcycles & the like?

Is Guido right?
As this screenshot shows, Jeremy Corbyn MP was seen cycling the wrong direction up a one-way street live on Sky News. The route he is taking goes in the direction of Parliament, therefore it is safe to assume it is not a mistake and he knows where he is going, even if he seems unaware of the Highway Code. There is no bike lane or alternative route for cyclists in this direction. Jeremy is of course going leftwards against the rightwards flow…
PS please don't think I'm a supporter of Guido. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

It is done on a council by council basis and only allowed where there are dedicated cycle lanes or signage permits, it is not a free for all.==================================
