I took mine headlights out last night and had the same, both bulbs blown.
Just waiting for the replacements to arrive and it'll hopefully be another one off the list!

I guess they get a fair bit of use, coming on every time you indicate or turn at night.
Maybe it's worth seeing if LED bulbs would work there? Does anyone know?

I have these in the main beam (H4 size) of my Defender and they're flippin bright
Great for night driving, but seem to be too bright for some other road users. Saying that I don't get any more flashes than I do with the totally standard D4 lights... so I'm not totally convinced about taking them out again quite yet2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

Ok - this sounds like it should be obvious, however I'm not sure!
My new 2012 HSE seems to have bulbs where I think the cornering lights should be (photo below) but they don't seem to come on. I've tested with the ignition and headlights on, with both indicators.
Is there any way to check for certain?
Cheers,
Ade

They might only come on with the engine running.
Maybe both bulbs blown.

ah right
don't do it for the main headlights. I have these in my Defender and the beam pattern is all over the place due to the placement of the LEDs. Regular bulbs have a very central light source whereas the LEDs are spread out over a larger area and don't have a central focal point to the light source
I've spent hours adjusting them so that they are only partially annoying to others at night (by pointing them almost as far down as the adjustment screws will allow!), but they're probably going to have to go. When I first fitted them even the truck drivers were flashing me
Such a shame, because they make it like driving a normal car at night where I can actually see where I'm going 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320
