Well it’s in now, and the wife’s taken it to the shops. She’s not phoned me yet to go and rescue her!
All surprisingly easy. The only thing that caught me out was how far sideways the oil can actually go when you pull the drain out! Completely missed my catch can! It also hits parts of the chassis and runs backwards down it.
Oil up the sleeve and a big stain on the drive to clean 😂
Oh crap. They’ve sent me a D3 filter by mistake. I’ll have to sort it out tomorrow. Cheers. 👍
I will have the filter Garath The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

That’s why LR suck it out and save on a new plug It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I’m going with the C2. I’ll let you know if my engine goes up in a ball of fire!
Just hope I’m not behind you when the DPF self cleans
My guess is 50% of cars with DPF are running on the wrong oil due to a; ignorance b; cost c; difficulty in obtaining correct oil, this problem is not confined to Discovery’s but all cars with DPF. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

C2 is what PSA advise. Being a PSA engine, I doubt C2 will cause any issues
Another thought, wonder if Citroen/Peugeot have the same amount of 3.0 failures as LR...
