D3:
AFAIK all diesels are.
The D3 V8 petrols are very reliable..
No idea of the V6 petrol.
D4:
all diesels are.
V8 petrol MY2010-2012 have fragile timing chain tensioners which can fail.. LTB00474 if you’re interested.
From MY2013 forward it’s a V6, I’ve understood it’s quite ok.

Just don’t even think of telling her she’s running really well. Ever!!
Unfortunatley maintenance and servicing doesn’t stand for squat when those bearing shells rotate.

I know, as god knows can see our discos want for nothing
Am surprised in one sense they’ve allowed this problem to have gone on for so many years, not like there not aware of it, including the reputation of what Land Rover stands for throughout the world
Would have thought they would have resolved it once and for good, even seen where it’s happened twice to the same person

Damn it!
Just did a 300 miles straight run to Cornwall and she ran like a dream!
Fully laden with wife, 3 kids and luggage, Mpg is up to 27.1 at a 80-90 avg on the motorway.
Accelerating up steep hills on hitting Dartmoor - outpacing a BWM x5 was fun.
Turbo didn’t give out once the whole way.
She felt like a new car, best she’s ever been in 6 months.
When do I call the tow truck?
