Cross over pipe

Exhaust noise from near front cant see anything

Mine was done with the body on at a good specialist.

I think it was around £600, but would have to check my file to be sure.

Give JAS a call, they have their own updated pipe I believe, I booked mine in for a suspected crossover pipe but it turned out to be some ERG pipework. They are not that far from you either so that's a bonus!

I would be wary about continuing to drive it as I have seen some horror story's about melted wiring or fires.

As I understand it, there is one problem bolt that invariable won't undo or snaps and body-off is easiest way to access it.

I think Beretta is referring to fuel line getting melted ? could be wrong.
 .

Yeah - I have heard depending on where the split is it will either take out the fuel line, or the other side is the wiring loom.

Never had a cross over pipe split on a D4, though its not unheard of

EGR pipes, on the other hand, appear to split for fun, and give a similar noise Thumbs Up

FWIW, I was getting restricted performance and I could hear a blowing noise.

There was a 2 or 3mm hole in the flexible section section of the crossover pipe.

A little off topic, but might be it helps to hear that i paid approx £3000 for a B-service incl the timing belt at my local dealer here in Norway.... Guess a cross over would cost alot more..

Had another quote they take body off (pass out with shock £1700) good job I dont live in Norway how much would it be there. It might be a lot more refined than a Disco 2 but at least everything was quite straight forward with them.
