Cruise Control issues

I seem to be having some problems with the cruise control either not comming on or after braking the cruise control will not engage again Sad

It is a known issue with the clock spring contacts in the steering wheel. Your dealer should be able to fix under warranty no problem. Search back in the forum if you want/need to quote the Technical bulletin number at him but I would be surprised if all the dealers do not know this one.

Seahawk's 2005 D3 would be out of warranty by now unless covered by an aftermarket jobby.

It does sound about right though - the clock spring (although it is actually a slightly more modern rotaty ribbon cable) is the usual suspect when the buttons on the steering wheel behave erratically.

There have been lots with this problem and nearly all have been fixed by replacing this part Thumbs Up

Local Disco repair centre have suggested the Coupling Head under the Steering wheel, not sure if this is correct
