The problem is this:- I fitted the controls to the steering wheel and the audio side is fine, the cruise control side appears not to function and i know the switch is not faulty also the car is fitted with the extra switches to the brake and clutch pedals.
Thanks again Steve

If this is something you fitted yourself as an add on to standard, i think it needs enabling by dealer or TFC software I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

It sure does - as the forum prototype for this retro mod I can confirm it works dandy on a base spec D3
TFCology required to enable it - no good going to stealers as they will say it cannot be done, also LR will not let them as it is not policy to alow such upspec of a base D3.
TFC and 10 mins and it should be up and running

Sure he'll get back to you before long. But he could be alseep because he didn't leave our place until 7pm last night, had to drive home (3 hrs), repack the D3 for todays job, which aparently was going to be another long distance drive - I recon he's trying to catch up with Character's mileage record LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
